Exodus 19-20: God owns everything. God is our deliverer. God is the only God. God is above creation. God judges those hate Him. God shows love to those who obey Him. The Lord’s name is holy and should be treated as such. God wants His people to rest. God gives us our parents. God gives us our provisions. God honors life. God honors purity. God provides. God is true. God gives us all that we need.
Psalm 30: God is our healer. God is our restorer. God’s name is holy. God is worthy of thanks.
Acts 18:18-28: God uses His people to preach His gospel. God is sovereign and brings people into our lives when we need it.
Matt 13:1-23: Jesus makes himself known to everyone. Some will not understand though.
How do I enjoy Him?
My joy is found in Christ and nothing else. There are things that will try to take away my joy, but Christ is the only one who can give it to me. Through His strength I avoid the deception of Satan. Through Him I persevere through persecution and troubles. Through Him I ignore the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches.
My goal for today is to be planted in Christ. To trust in Him for everything and to have some time to thank Him for all that He does in my life.
